Engineering Technician (244-269)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Determine best practices among the crews and communicate to all crews.
Own the recipe system. Determine best settings and update recipes as needed. Be the parameter compliance point person, working with process engineer and all crews to standardize how we make decide, react and train on operating to parameters.
Serve as the point person for plant yields: Must be a master troubleshooter; Help coach others to improve troubleshooting at all levels; and help determine root cause and communicate problems to maintenance, operations or engineering to mobilize resources to resolve.
Must be focused on continuous improvement. Identify opportunities and either lead correction or develop scope to get help.
Serve as point person for plant changes: Work with R&D during trials to capture learnings to set recipes for new products and share methods with all crews; and work with engineering and maintenance during process changes to capture new information to set recipes for new equipment and share methods with all crews.
Participate in site-safety programs designed to assure safe working conditions and eliminate any workplace accidents.
Support engineering projects for new equipment evaluations, installations, startups, new products and test evaluations.
Required Experience
Two-to-three years manufacturing experience with solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
Proficient in Excel.
Flexible schedule, and nights and weekends as needed.
Good communication skills focused on both listening and teaching.
Good technical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lead and build consensus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
